Worried about the CM lanyards

Is it fair to ask if the CMs will only have "junky reject" pins on thier lanyards??

I bought some pins to trade.... not spain pins, and not generic pins that you see millions of.... BUT>> I am just afraid that all the CMs will have these pins that everyone else has....

Has anyone traded recently? Can you tell me what kind of pins were out there to trade?

DW2B traded for a limited edition pin (1000 made) from a CM @ our resort gift shop. Evidently the guest traded it to the CM not knowing what they had. She said she had it about a week and was surprised she still had it on her lanyard. It only came up in conversation because we didn't recognize the character, thats when she showed us the # series on the back. We quickly offered up a trade which she gladly did.

I guess in all that I'm trying to say that you should not be worried about this. Just have fun with it and you never know what you'll find!!

Almost all the pins my dds took last trip to trade were LE that I'd bought on clearence. They were nice pins but not the characters my dds like so they traded them. They traded for what they liked (many common, a few sedesma but also some nice LE ones). When we go back this October they will be bringing some more LE ones to trade. They only trade with cast members so you never know what you might find....

Few CMs know anything about pins so wouldn't know junk from good. My dad had to wear a lanyard anytime he was a greeter and he doesn't know squat about pins. Lanyards are pretty much junk anymore. Even if you get a low edition LE or CM LE it's on lanyards because they didn't sell.

Not true! Not true! Some lanyards have really great pins!! You just have to look at ALL of them. In my last 2 trips (Late March and 3rd week in April) I have found:

pp28891 WDW CM LE500 What time is the 3:00 parade Chip and Dale
pp4448 World Showplace
pp30282 WDW Dragon Surprise #2 also a LE500

And these are just the ones off the top of my head. We also found NUMEROUS pins from the newest lanyard series. You just have to LOOK!
