Hi there - going in December with family & mother who will be 70. I'm worried that just getting to the park will be exhausting without walking round all day! Any suggestions?? We are staying off site & although mum can walk she's not as able as she used to be.

How about one of the Electric wheelchair/carts. Those things are great! There are places you can rent them for the whole week and they'll be delivered right to your hotel.

Don't remember the name of the place, but I saw the info in my Passporter. (That my husband has left at work for the past 4 days)

Anyone??

On a recent trip to Busch Gardens (Williamsburg, Virginia), my feisty, independent 70 yr old mother fought me tooth and nail when I suggested (because of her arthritic knees) she needed a wheelchair for our themepark visit. Her aversion was having to be at the mercy of someone pushing the wheelchair. She did lighten up to the idea of an electric scooter though, an agreed that it made the day so much more enjoyable for her, and even admitted that she wouldn't have been able to cope without it.
For all the other pedestrians out there that day though.....it was hell!!

Yes 70 year old mom=electric scooter!! Will make her day much more enjoyable(although please be sure she can drive it before you leave the area and enter the crowd! :crowded: )
