I have a frozen Friday's queso dip in the freezer. I also have a can of lump meat crab. I was thinking of mixing the crab with the queso dip and having some chips with it. Is this crazy? Would you try it? :confused3

I don't know what Queso dip is so I can't help you.

I have had a crab and queso like dip. It was not a yellow cheese and not spicy. Is your queso spicy??? I am sitting on the fence on this one. If you do try it post your update and let us know how it turned out.

Queso is a soft cheese dip typically associated with nachos and other Mexican dishes. My frozen dip is yellow, and I think the crab dip I have seen before was made with jack cheese? I'm thinking the crab might best be saved for some other use. :)

Go for it. Sounds good to me! :) I'd probably have it on toasted french bread slices, like you'd use for bruschetta.

Barring that, if you've got a package of cream cheese, some parmesan and several spices, you can make a good crab dip that can also be served on toasted bread.
