World Traveller Plus on BA.

I have only flown PE but I know people who have done both who say WTP is much better than PE. It's all horses for courses I suppose. You'll be getting the extra leg room no matter what which is always a plus :)

I think I'll hijack this thread to ask a related but not quite the same topic thread! :)

I'm looking to book flights for my in-laws to the west coast of America for next year and as they ALWAYS fly Virgin PE to Florida, they (obviously) want to do that on this trip as well.

Trouble is, Virgin are charging absolute rip-off prices for their flights at the moment, both on their own website and through Expedia etc. I can't see any reason why, unless it's because they want to fly into LAX and out of SFO. Basically I can get 2 British Airways WT+ seats for only £100 more than one Virgin PE seat.

So the big question is, how much better is PE than WT+? Is it worth this much difference?

This is just my opinion, but if I was in that situation I would definitely choose WT+ with the huge savings. For basically half the price, you will be getting excellent value-for-money. It seems as though BA are having trouble selling their WT+ seats......first they are giving away free upgrades and now they are offering much lower prices than Virgin! :confused3
