World Showcase

What are some not to miss things in world showcase? We usually just walk along the outside of the pavilions and catch whatever shows are out front. We have also done malestrom and the ride in mexico and the attraction at American Adventure. We would like to explore more of world showcase but could really use some help as to which pavilions to explore...Not much on shopping really but do like shows.

It really depends on your taste! Lots of people rave about the UK - there are live comedy shows, but even better is the Invasion group that impersonates the Beatles!

Consider taking one of the Hidden Treasures of World Showcase tours. They take you to the different "countries" and tell you about some of the special things that the Disney Imagineers did when putting it together.

For example; many of us know that Disney uses a lot of "forced perspective" tricks to make things look taller than they really are. Think Canada in Epcot. Well it also works the other way around. Take a look at the American Pavilion. It's actually a 5+ story building, but you would think it only 2.5. Watch as somebody walks up to the doors and you'll see that they (the doors) are actually huge!
