World Showcase with small children?

I'm only 25 so I don't have any kids of mine own however I saw a lot of kids enjoying themselves at WS when I was there. They can meet Donald in the Mexico Pavilion and the ride there has the Three Caballeros. I believe different countries have some sort of arts and crafts and don't forget Agent P! Different countries have characters that you can meet like Belle in France, Jasmine in Morocco, Mulan in China etc. I think it's something you should def do with your little ones but keep in mind they might speed through it a bit since there is a little less to do than the other areas. It might be harder for you to take your time and relax and have a drink or two since your kids might be going through it quickly but it's worth a try! Have fun!

Our kids at 4 and 9 really loved World Showcase and still do to this day they are now 13 & 18. We would let them pick out something small in each shop to purchase. DD got a little fan from Japan. She still has it in her room. China has candy. America has different neat things, we have the Declaration of Independence somewhere.

We also sample a little food here a there. Makes them happy campers. We have always had a really good time in World Showcase.

My five year old loved Epcot/World Showcase. We went there our first day. Then visited all the other parks. On our last half day, we didn't plan which park to go to ahead of time and let our son pick. Out of the 4, he chose Epcot. It might have been because of Test Track...but still, he did enjoy wandering through the Showcase.

My daughter LOVED WS at 6 years old. We took her autograph book, and asked a CM in each country to write in her book in their native language. Then we asked them to write the translation in English on the facing page. Most wrote something like "Welcome (DD name) to Epcot! Thank you for visiting! Come to (Norway) sometime!"

Many CM's seemed to appreciate that we were interested in their culture. My daughter really liked looking at Japan, China, Morocco after we got back home. And she liked a few of the countries where her name looked completely different.

Definitely depends on the kid. My DS(5) loved each country while his brother DS(6) asked if "we could just go back to Florida"! They are teenagers now and still love/loathe it like they did years ago.
