We're staying at the Beach Club and wondering what is the usual closing time for counter service at World Showcase..?

Since we're arriving (hopefully) by 8:00pm at Beach Club we're thinking we'll have time to sneak in something quick.. maybe Morocco.. yum! or Germany... yum! or ... Japan.... oh yeah!

Nothing sit down, we'll be dead tired but just so we don't have to do room service, and still get a 'taste' of our first night at the park..

Thanks very much!

9, when the park closes (IllumiNations notwithstanding). But there will be locations on the Boardwalk open later than that.

That is what is so cool about staying on the Boardwalk side as you have many choices if you are there and want to go into Epcot....at your end of the world, England, fish and chips and France, the delicious French bakery....without too much of a walk. Also, love Spoodles on the Boardwalk and I actually like the pizza at the window... then if you are feeling up to walking to the Dolphin, there is Pikabu....good fast food.

The counter service places will be closed by 9:00 when Illuminations starts.

If you arrive at 8:00, you will need to bypass checking in (if you are on a package with park tickets, then you will have to check in which about kills the plan), go immediately over to Epcot (about a five minute walk), through security (hope a boat just hasn't dropped off passengers) and the turnstile and then over to where you decide. Germany is on the complete other side of the lagoon, Japan is closer and Morocco is the closest.

Quite honestly, I'd just decide not to rush around while I'm that tired and opt for the Boardwalk. It's basic hot dogs and fries and pizza but those places are open much later so you won't be running around the very first thing.

All very good information, thank you very much!

If we're too tired we may not want to go too far, and although I knew of the pizza window at the Boardwalk I wasn't aware of any other counter service except for ice cream, so that's a great option. Pikabu, now that could be fun, too... never been there and that's not too far, either.

We stay at the Beach Club for a lot of very good reasons, but the main one for me is that it's next to EPCOT, World Showcase in particular. World Showcase is out favorite part of Disney World, and it has a lot to with the food available and the fun of eating there.... just the atmosphere alone makes it wonderful experience. It always seems in the long run we can't eat there often enough, no matter where we end up it's just a magical place for sure.
