World Showcase Boats Not Running to Italy Today

There are no boats running between Future World and Italy today. Any ideas why? The lagoon looks super low today as well.

That actually happens quite often.

Boat problems or staffing problems are the likely reason.

Historically,there have been many times when either the World Showcase Plaza to Germany or World Showcase Plaza to Morocco route was not in use.

BUT,FWIW,there is a report in another Thread that the World Showcase Plaza to Germany route is permanently gone.

I'm really not buying it,but time will tell.

That's been the case for at least six months or so. The FEA dessert party takes place in front of the Mexico boat launch so I'm there regularly and many guests ask if the Mexico to Germany boat is operating. The answer has been no.

I don't know if it's connected, but a few months ago I saw a Friendship size boat completely wrapped in white plastic and loaded on a huge trailer in the Epcot CM parking lot. Don't know if it was coming or going. Was it leaving to be refurbed, leaving for good or was it a new boat?
