World Show case

I know the stores and restaurants are closed till 11:00am but does any one know can you just walk around the the showcase before then?

During my last visit in Epcot they have had ropes near the China Pavillion and near Canadian Pavillion.

Until 11am you can only visit Mexico and Norway along World Showcase.

Please consider that the rides in these pavillions will be closed until 11am, too.

For the time from park opening until opening of World Showcase you better spend the time in Future World at Epcot.

The bakery in France is open starting when the Epcot gates open in the mornings.

Guests can stroll over there from Future World, if they like. That means you'd pass by the (still closed) Canada and UK, and see a bit of France, all before the rest of WS opens at 11am.
(Of course guests arriving via the International Gateway have those options, as well.)

You can also walk up to Norway past a closed Mexico because Norway hosts a breakfast that starts before WS opens.

Thanks, every one I wish I was having that ham and cheese croissant right now. Were on DDP plan and I want to use my snack credit for the ham and cheese croissant.

If you enter the Showcase on the Mexico side you can walk as far as Norway. Everything in Mexico will be closed until 11. In Norway, only the Akershus restaurant (you probably need a reservation if you're thinking of eating there) and the Frozen princess meet and greet are open, everything else is closed until 11. You will be blocked from proceeding past Norway.

If you enter on the Canada side, you can walk through the Canadian, British and French pavilions. The only thing open before 11 in any of them will be the bakery at France. You will be blocked from proceeding past France.

It's worth noting that the pub in Britain and Tutto Gusto in Italy open at 11:30 and La Cava del Tequila in Mexico at noon - they don't open at 11 with the rest of the showcase.
