I'll post this thread for those interested. There was a link on the DVC website early this morning but it's not there now. It appears that II has created a DVC group link where II has linked in real time to the DVC exchange resorts. That would be good as it's likely to be up to date and updated continuously and all DVC has to do is maintain the one link. The one thing it doesn't do is give which ones are 5* and which are not. Early info suggest confirmation of the Embassy's and New Marriott's for HI. It looks like they've dropped La Cabana in Aruba, I'm not surprised. They've added a resort in Curacau and one in Turks and Caicos.

Funny that I saw this thread cause I've been looking all over the new DVC website for even a list of II resorts. I can't find any info on locations anywhere! What's up with that? There used to be very informative PDF files. Where'd they go?

Interval's DVC website I've debated with myself whether to suply the website URL but have decided to. When you do an advanced seach, it only brings up resorts on the DVC list. When I first tried it this morning it wouldn't work so I am wondering if it's supposed to be a direct link from DVC to II that requires a login. Let me know if others can get through or not.

Try this one then try the first one again It didn't work for me this am until I tried the second link then it worked.

The first must be a generic log in page that recognizes your past contact and directs you. When I've signed in to the regular II site then go to the first link, I get the regular II login screen. When I went to the second link then to the first, I got the DVC page. I'm wondering if DVC will have a login direct to II or if it's set up to only access II once you're signed into DVC.

I've edited the first site also, those who tried it for the first time after I edited it, let me know if you can get in.

I'm sure that's the plan as I came across the link on the DVC website, then it wasn't there. Whether they removed it on purpose or just had some HTML glich is hard to say. I'm glad we have it though.

While this is a good starting place, there is not enough info here ot allow anyone to make much of an informed decision on exchange viability. All it can do is tell you the phone and address, unit sizes, amenities and resorts on the list. Say you're looking for a 2 BR, you can search for 2 BR units and any that don't have that size will not show up.

If one is interested in more info, ask and/or go to TUG.

It would be really neat if there was a link to II Getaways. II made these available to TUG non-members a while back. The prices were slightly higher than for II members, but it would give DVC members more choices!

DVC members are not entitled to the cash getaways, two for one's, etc. Unfortunately.

Thanks, Dean. This is a much more user friendly than the one that used to be on the DVC website. For some reason, my computer occasionally has problems locking up on pdf files, which is what DVC used. My computer liked your link much better. Thanks again.
