World of Disney Store in DTD Questions

Does the World of Disney Store in DTD carry many of the items that can be found in the parks?

Will this store deliver purchases to on-site rooms?

Can you use your room key to pay for purchases?

Yes, to all. However, there can be some items that can be purchased in the parks that are not available at WoD. Usually no deliveries if down to last couple days of your stay. And make sure to get discounts applicable, DVC, AP, etc.

Ditto to Dan. Park/ride specific items are usually not found there. Such as, you won't find a shirt that says "Magic Kingdom" on it there.

The questions have been answered, but I just wanted to say that the only way you can use your room key to charge, is if you allowed the key to be charged on.

This store holds a lot of items from the parks, but I have seen MANY items only available at that park and not at the World of Disney store.

Also goes for resort items also, just like the parks, those items generally available only at the specific resorts.

Don't forget that while items can be sent back to your resort it must be 2 days before you check out.

For example, if you are checking out on Saturday they won't arrange delivery a purchase made on Friday.

And unless you are staying in a concierge level, the purchase will be delivered to the resort gift shop. You will get a message on your in-room voice mail when it is there. Concierge guests purchases are left in their room.

Someone mentioned discounts. I know of the Disney Visa 10%. Is there anything better out there?

I don't know of any discounts greater than 10%.

World of Disney carries all of the "common" items between the parks - the things they carry over store to store. It does not carry a lot of the park or location specific items ( For example: You won't find things at WOD that are from the Muppet store in MGM, or the TestTrack store that are specific to those locations ).
