World of Colour and Fantasmic in one night?

How doable is this?

Our first day in the parks has an 8:15 showing of World of Colour, and a 9:00 and 10:15 showing of Fantasmic. Although we're in Disney for four days, we only have two nights available- and our other night will be committed to seeing Fireworks.

So how do-able is it to do World of Colour at 8:15, and make it for Fantasmic at 10:15? I've read here that people do this, and some have even done the "trifecta" of nighttime shows; so I was hoping you guys could give me some pointers on how best to do this?

Thanks in advance! :worship:

I'd say it's quite doable if you do the early WoC show and the late Fantasmic, with some buffer time in between to park hop and allow for exiting crowds. You might not get the best seats in the house for F!, but reasonable spots should still be available if you know where to look. On the trip I just got off of, we did just fine with a 9:00 WoC show and a 10:15 F! show. We didn't even plan it that way (our plan was to get to Splash Mountain and Indiana Jones after WoC, I completely forgot about the second F! show that night) it just kind of happened.

No problem. I did it twice this summer myself. And that was with WOC at 9PM and F! at 10:30. And we had to fight out way thru fireworks crowds in the hub.

Doing the trifecta or as I call it the triple wammy is doable. When the shows are lined up right you basically leave WoC quickly and enter DL a couple minuted later the fireworks begin, when fireworks end you go ROA and find a spot for the late F!. You either are lucky or watch the fireworks from a subpar spot because Mainstreet and the hub will already be full on busy nights when you walk in. But it allows for decent spots for WoC and F!.

Seeing WoC then F! is semi easy to really easy. You need to plan to get out of WoC and DCA quickly and into DL taking Adventureland to ROA. Your best bet then is for the middle light tower.

If you can wait for the late show of F!, then you have plenty of time to leave DCA. In DL go through adventureland or take the train around to NOS. Wait by the mansion for the first F! to end, and then fill the vacuum left behind. You will likely find a spot front and middle.

Thanks all! I feel a lot better about doing this knowing that it has successfully been done my the experts! :goodvibes

Wow, that sounds a little bit "dangerous." ;);)

:cool2:

It is possible to see the 9pm WoC show at DCA and head on over to DL for the 10:30pm F! show. You can even get a ground sitting area right next to the ROA. You just got to go through the crowds when you enter MS when the fireworks is going on. Just like what HydroGuy and skiingfast said that it is possible to see both shows on the same night. I know that I did it twice and once with HydroGuy.

And Bret had his whole camera bag and everything. Whenever it got too crowded I let him go first and knock people out of the way. :rolleyes1

A lead blocker comes in handy in so many situations.

LOL :rotfl2: It was fun to go from WoC to F! that same night with you HydroGuy. It was busy that night going through MS, but it wasn't that bad when I tried it back in June.
