Hi!

Planning the our first trip to Disney in three days.

My 5 year old daughter is in love with all Disney princesses. so we cant to go to Ariels' Grotto for sure.

We were planning on doing the prix fixe dinner where you can see the show with preferred viewing seating.

Looking on the website it states, "Ariel's Grotto's character experiences are not available during World of Color dining package hours. Outdoor dining area closes at 7:30 p.m.

Does that mean the princesses don't come around?

Is it worth the "better" seats to see World of Color Show? Or should we see the princesses alone and hope to get good seats to the see the World of Color Show on our own?

TIA

No characters during dinner at Ariel's Grotto.

WoC has no actual seats, you will need to stand for the show, maybe you knew this but it's a common misconception.

Also no matter how you get you tickets with meals or the free showpass distribution, strategy is needed to get good views.

Take a look at the World of Color Superthread.
