World of Color Dining...?

I assume you mean the dining package? Look back several days and there should be some posts about what people thought of their package. We ate at Ariels and thought it was worth it for a first time seeing the show. We had an excellent spot at the railing with no one in front of us. And the food was wonderful and it was very relaxing out on the deck by the water.

Is it worth the money? Is the view any better than without the dinner?
For us it was worth the money. It is not so much that the view is better it is that you can avoid having to wait awhile to get Fastpasses in the morning and the preferred viewing area is less crowded and very central for viewing.

Do people with out kids go to Ariels too? or will we feel out of place?

We are a family of four with two 17 year old boys and they loved it! Everyone there for dinner is there for the WOC package so there are all kinds of people, not just little girls. No princesses at the dinner.

Cool - what did you have to eat???? was it worth the $$?

First they bring you some yummy bread. Then an appetizer tower. We picked the veggie one, including a salad. For the main course 3 of us had the beef and one son had the pasta which I tasted. It was good and had a little spice to it. The beef was good too. Then a dessert tray with a lot of very fancy little cookies, cakes, and other little things I don't know what you would call. It felt like a nice restaurant. I suggest sitting outside if it is a nice day. The view is amazing, just overlooking the lagoon.

This was our splurg for the trip. The boys were expecting a meal half as nice and were suprised. I think all the courses presented in such a "fancy" way made it seem special. For us, it was worth it for the nice meal and the good WOC tickets. We would do it again, but not every time due to the price. Maybe once a year or two. Glad we did it for our first WOC viewing though. Because the preferred area has less people we were able to be only the second family to enter that section even though we were not the first in line standing at the WOC entry area.

So there are 2 options, the picnic and a dinner? I had only read about the picnic on the DL website. What is the difference between the 2? Does one give better seats than the other? We're going in 2 weeks and I'm thinking a package is the way to go.

Sorry I hijacked. I was just about to post a question about the picnic thinking that was the only dinner option when I saw this!

Yes, two choices to avoid waiting in line for your WOC FP. The picnic is much cheaper but you just get a regular FP that people who waited in line would get. The dinner package is more expensive, but you sit down at Ariels or WCT for a meal. You also get a WOC FP to the preferred section. This area is less crowded and is in the center. We got one of the best spots in the section on the front railing. The people in front of us were a big level down, so we had a clear view. Depending on when you go, the WOC dinner packages might all be full, so you should call as soon as you decide.

One thing I do know, I'm not waiting in a long line half the morning for WOC FPs. I'd at least do the picnic if I couldn't do the dinner package.

Thanks for the info. If I have an early morning entry through the GCH and head straight to the fast pass. This will be a Thursday morn, Nov 3rd... What are the odds of a really long line up? I'm thinking it shouldn't be too bad, but have never done it before,

Thanks,
LIz:scared1:
