World of Color Dining Packages Announced

In no way do I consider myself disabled or handicapped, but i am physically incapable of standing without leaning for less than 10 minutes. I just completely drop my BP and pass out. This is do to my fibromyalgia. I certainly do not expect the world to accommodate me, I just usually make choices based on my own limitations..In this case my choice will have to be to find a less than perfect viewing spot where I can either lean or sit. Worse case scenario a spot where I do not have to wait at all, and then lean against my DH.

There a ton of people like me that have arthritis, bad joints, MS, Parkisons, etc that do not use a WC. I find it dissapointing if to qualify for the "handicapped" section you would have to be WC bound, but see no way they could accomaadte the number of people who really do have problems with standing.

Maybe we'll all be packed in so tightly that everyone just kind of holds each other up. I totally get what you're saying, Judy. I have lower back issues that flare up when I stand in one spot for a long time. I'm hoping that they might at least allow us to sit until the show actually starts.

My SIL has an I-touch -- can they be used in the park? Or are you referring to your hotel wi-fi?

I'm bummed that no one in my family has an iphone or verizon so we don't have any DL aps (we are all on T-mobile, one with the new HTC phone).

There is no wi-fi in the parks, but you can pick up the GCH's internet near Grizzly Rapids.

I'm wondering if I could use a character dining voucher from Last Minute Travel to pay for WOC dining at Ariel's Grotto...probably not since it won't be a character meal.

Nope the Ariel Dining Voucher will not work for the WOC meals ~ just breakfast & lunch at Ariel's.

I just called in for an October 13th reservation at Ariel's Grotto, and the CM said that as of now, they are only taking reservations thru mid-September, and she's not sure that they will get new dates.

Has anyone heard anything along these lines? I'm hoping it is a metter of them not having the fall schedule set, but I would think they would have knocked that out already.
