We are taking my mom (78) to Disneyland in September, we thought it would be nice to have a reserved spot, but it is a little pricey so looking to see what you Disney fans think. worth it or not and y?

I may be the odd man out but I didn't really enjoy WOC. Even with our reserved seating I felt it was still difficult to see from where we were. However, the food at WCT for lunch that day was great.

If she requires use of a wheelchair or scooter for the parks, she and her party can use the disabled seating section. I just returned today from a trip with my parents who are 69 and my mom has had a stroke and can't walk/stand very long and has to use a scooter. She was able to sit on a bench in the blue disabled section and the rest of us (6 others) sat with her on the bench or stood behind her during the show. Take a blanket or beach towel to sit on behind the bench while you wait and then stand during the show. There were several elderly people using those benches for the show. Obviously, the benches are for the actually disabled people, but if they don't fill up, the CMs let companions sit there as well. At least that's what happened for us the other night. If the benches fill up, you can at least stay in that section with her and stand behind her.

I think it is worth it if you want to eat at that particular restaurant anyway. We did the Carthay Circle WOC lunch and really liked the meal.

The view wasn't super amazing compared to other places we've watched it from, and it didn't save us a huge amount of time, so I wouldn't do it again for those perks. I could see it being an advantage if you are arriving later in the day and want to make sure you have a fastpass for WOC, though.

We enjoy it because we like eating at Carthay Circle. We've done it twice- the last time was in July 2013. (went to WDW this summer, but plan to do it again in July 2015) We go for lunch and then ask for tickets to the second showing. The viewing area is less crowded and we thought it was a good view at the railing there.
