World of color dessert party?!

12 year olds definitely get a glow cup, right? My son is 12 (although he could pass for 14) and I know he would like one. Especially since his 7 year old cousin will get one.

Unless they have limited availability now, everyone 12 and under gets one. (not like the 10yo "Disney adults" for ordering food!)

I've got a 13 year old, I sure hope he can get one :) I'm also very curious what the hold up is with the Summer entertainment schedule.

My guess is budget. They are being forced to make big budget cuts for this quarter and may not have decided yet if and how much and how these cuts will continue into the next fiscal quarter. For example, DCA is closing at 9 PM on nights in June when it closed at 10 PM last year. That allows for one showing of World of Color at 9 PM. If DCA goes back to a 10 PM close, they could opt to have two World of Color shows per night.

Dates beyond July 2nd are now available online. I just booked us for July 12! This will be our first trip to Disneyland and I'm excited to have seats for WOC and not have to jockey for a viewing spot!

Booked this for Saturday night of Memorial Day - the not having to stand in line alone is worth it. I paid $99 a person for the Villian Soiree at WDW in 2014 and would pay it again if offered. Taking just the wife and I - little date night in the middle of the chaos - I mean fun
See you there!
We will be there the same night celebrating my son's 12th birthday. Can't wait!

Booked for Friday, July 22nd! Shhhh, it's a surprise!

When the dates opened up last night, we booked a dinner package for a different night, because we will be there with family. Friday will be just me and my finace. I told him I read that the dessert party was about $100pp and not great/bad views/etc - white lies! lol

I just booked a party of 5 for July 17! I was all bummed last night thinking it was sold out but everything was working today.

We did the WOC dessert party this week and thought the seats alone were 100% worth it. I'm not a picky eater, but I ate very little off the plate... And we were hungry because we skipped dinner (not purposely, we just ran out of time!). I would've liked to see more traditional desserts, or at least an option for it. Our server was awesome and made us feel so welcome. I plan to email guest services to compliment her. Overall, just for the seating, we would do it again.

we did this yesterday and wanted to bump the thread for people.
We got there right at 8:15 (9pm show) and we were the second to last in line. Didn't make any difference though, we were still offered front row short table or back row high table. I chose the back row but kind of wished we had chosen the front row for my daughters sake.....but honestly with a little scooting of the chairs there really isn't a bad seat in the whole area.
The service was amazing, the cheeses were wonderful and we loved almost every dessert. It really was so much food! We had a light dinner at 5:45ish and we were the perfect amount of hungry . They offered boxes to go as well.
I would highly recommend this to everyone, we had seen WOC before and we were not impressed with jockeying for position for an hour and half and them standing for the whole show, really took away from the magic. This really made the show more magical and I was able to enjoy it so much more.

Silly question, but it's been a few years since we went to DL...

How do I book this? Is there a specific phone number to call?

"There is a 1 day cancellation policy. Full price will be charged / forfeited if Guest cancels within 1 day or no shows for the reservation."

I copied that out of my confirmation email.

I'm so excited, my hubby insisted I book this for myself as a birthday present. He knows I love WOC , but as he's not a sweets person it didn't make sense for him so while I'm here July 2nd he'll go on rides and meet up after:)

The video was really helpful and love all the reviews !
