World of Color debuting June 11!

I just saw the link on Facebook that WoC will officially be debuting June 11! So exciting!

I see now that the date of the original blog post was April 12 so I'm sure a lot of you know but still wanted to share as I hadn't seen the June 11 date posted anywhere yet.

I'm really surprised they've committed to a date at this point.

I watched them working on the "jellyfish" a little on Saturday morning.

I can't wait to see how they are going to manage the crowds for WOC. I wish we could go this summer to see the show but I keep telling myself I'd rather wait til they get the kinks worked out. It will be interesting to see how the showpass works.

Yahoo! I'm a bit nervous for the crowds as our trip is planned for June 13-18 (with a grad night on that Wed).....but I'm looking forward to trying to get in & see this at least one night. I love DCA at night, Screamin is great in the dark!

There is a good chance you will not be able to ride Screamin in the dark this summer. Or anything in Paradise Pier. See World of Color Superthread.

Reportedly, there will be cast member and annual passholder previews, at least. Not certain about soft openings but it seems likely that Disney will want to test crowd control. (Whether they do that through large AP previews or not remains to be seen!)

Yup I am waiting to hear when the AP can see the show, I will definitely be there.
