Hi all! I haven't been to DLR for more than a year, but before I used to go about every month or so. My question is about the World of Color showing times. If I understand correctly, on weekends, WoC has two shows - one of 9:00 and one at 10:15. I'm planning on going this Saturday, 9/5 and made a reservation at Carthay Circle at 7:40 for the WoC dining package (the earliest slot I could get) and probably can't make the 9:00 showing. I looked up the showtimes of WoC on 9/5 and the only one listed was 9:00. Does anyone know if they are just playing it safe and saying there is only 1 show and they will open up the 10:15 showing the day of? I remember in the past, I had seen them open up the second show only after the first one sells out (which is kind of always). Is this what is going on here? Or is there really just one showing that date? Anyone know why this weekend there is only 1 showing of WoC when all the wekends before had two showings? I notice that all the weekends after 9/5 also show only one showing (some at 9:45). Thank you for your help!

I would only count on the one showing, as, despite it being a holiday weekend, it is the off season. I would call and see if you can't move your reservation up because that is cutting it quite close. I'm surprised they offered WOC dining so close to the show time even. If they can't move you up I'd show up a half hour before the reservation time and let them, as well as your server, know you are trying to make WOC and would like to be as speedy as possible

I hate to say this, but it sounds like there might have been a glitch in the ADR system. I checked a handful of nights and the last ADR times for the WoC Dining Packages were usually about 2 hours before the slated show time. I think you'll be hard pressed to make it to WoC, but it is possible. TS dining locations take about 60-90 minutes, depending on the number of courses ordered, how busy they are, etc. I would second CassieF's recommendation and get there a bit early and tell them you have the WoC Dining Package but are concerned about the show time (are you sure you have the Dining Package and not just a regular Carthay reservation?).

I checked last year and it looks like they only had one WoC showing on the marathon weekend Saturday, so it's completely possible that there will only be one showing this weekend. As said, the parks have transitioned into their after summer (i.e., non-peak) season schedule, which means reduced entertainment. I haven't heard of them adding WoC showing at the last minute in a while.

Thanks for your replies! Yea, I made sure online that I am booked for the World of Color showing. I kind of thought that they would stop me from booking a time so close to the WoC showing, so that's why I thought they were going to do a 10:15 showing. But I will call them and see if I can ask them to move me up a bit and then day-of see if they can move me up. Thanks again!

EDIT: Great news! I called to ask if they could move me up and was told by the CM that there actually is a 10:15pm showing that night. So that works perfectly. Thanks again for all your help!
