World Golf Hall of Fame?

Has anyone been? My husband is a huge golf fan, has played since he was a child, watches all the tournaments etc... I was thinking this would be a nice "treat" for him? Is it worth a day trip to St. Augustine to visit?

St. Augustine is fun to visit, but I would make the Hall of Fame only one part of the trip. The Hall of Fame is a place you might spend a couple 2-3 hours at, but not all day. They also have a putting course outside the Hall if you'd like to do that and an IMAX theater that plays a variety of things (not golf related). The Murry Bros. Caddyshack is a restaurant with lots of memorabilia and not bad bar food nearby.

That alone may not be worth it, however I would also go over to the Old City part of St. Augustine, which is lots of fun, and walk around there. Combined these two things would make a great day trip.

If you are into outlet malls, there is a giant one near the WGV as well.
