World for a $1 winners

Have any of you received tax stuff from them? I haven't yet.

Nope...nothing here yet either. I think they have until Jan.30th to send it out?? Someone may be able to verify that better than I? It will be interesting to see how much they valued my room at

Nope, I never got anything either.

Also wishing they would do another World For a $1... It was the only way we were able to afford to go to Disney last summer!

I haven't, either.

I did print out the cost of our condo stay the day I won, just so that I had something to give to our tax guy since the travel company seemed to be less than attentive.

I've also been in contact with my tax guy to let him know and he said they have until 1/31/10 to give me the tax info.

He also wanted to know if I gave them my SS#. I said that I did. Otherwise, he said they had no way of proving I owed tax. Nice to know my tax guy was looking out for me, but yeah, I'm honest and would still want to pay tax on my estimated price of the winning room.

Plus, we had such a great time in Hawaii and again, I want to thank everyone here for the support during that crazy time.

I am interested in seeing how much they valued our POR room. It was a great deal...but I will admit I held my breath all the way through the check-in process just making sure it was all taken care of! I would love for them to do another promotion like this again. I really only devoted one day to wearing out F5 on my computer and it was worth it.

I was just thinking about this yesterday.

I have not received anything yet either. At the time they were asking for all the ssn# i actually had them email me the value of my trip, so i have it in writing!
