I don’t dance but I enjoy watching dance and I enjoy variety, that is diversity. This topic fits what I like as it is about dances of the World in which I include not only what is typically thought to be dance but also human movement in response to music. My feeling is that dance is sensuous or sensual, and I also like the music.

Wa Dance - The Wa people are an ethnic group with a population of approximately 390,000–400,000 in China, primarily residing in the mountainous regions of Yunnan Province, partially the Cangyuan and Ximeng Wa Autonomous Counties along the China-Myanmar border. Known for their unique culture, dark skin, and historical traditions.

West African, Sinte is a traditional, high-energy celebration dance and drumming rhythm originating from the Nalu people in the Boke region of coastal Guinea.

Interesting topic.

This is Irish Dancing. Its a highly competitive style of dance, which over the last 40 years has evolved and changed from the very traditional which I grew up to the highly stylized Broadway style shows.

Back in 1994 Ireland hosted The Eurovision Song Contest and the National Broadcaster RTE decided to showcase traditional Irish dance and music. They put together a modern show piece based on the very traditional competition dancing and created something that changed Irish dance forever. The two lead dancers were Jean Butler and Michael Flatley, who at that time were two of the most high profile professional dancers. They were backed by a troop of individual amateur dancers from the competition circuit, who all held multiple World Championship titles.

Bad Pink Tink, thank you for commenting. For a long time, I have enjoyed watching River Dance and Jean Butler on Videos. When I was in Dublin, I went to an Irish Dancing show and enjoyed it. They asked for volunteers from the audience and I jumped at the chance.
