I was wondering if anyone had a worksheet already prepared that computes loan value, interest, payments made etc. so that I can easily keep track of our actual balance due at home rather than having to call DVC Accounting. I can set one up myself but am not looking forward to taking the time to do so. I am being plain lazy!!:D So I was wondering if anyone has done this and is willing to share. ;) Thanks for humoring me!!:smooth:

I don't have a spreadsheet, but if you use Quicken for your family finances, when you set up the loan, it gives you the principle and interest breakdown for the entire loan by pay period. Further, every time you enter a payment in Quicken, it will give you the interest and principle for that payment. You may want to call DVC accounting and ask them to send you the amortization schedule for you loan. I am sure that you will not be the first to ask for this.

:) Hi! I have a great amortization program at the office and would be happy to fax a print out to you if you will e-mail the pertinent data. I would need to know, the original loan (not the original sales price, but the original loan), the date of closing, the interest rate, date of month payment is due, date and amount of first payment, monthly payment amount and term of loan (how many months or years). This print out will give you the information that DVCDAVE talks about re: amortization schedule.

Let me know!

And have a Great Weekend!

Thanks for the replies and I will look into doing one of those suggestions. I just am not sure when. Flying out to LA on Sat. and I have to clean the house, do laundry, run errands, pack and make sure my family won't destroy everything while I am gone. (first time mom is away........) But when things slow down again I will come back to this topic. Thanks everyone!!
