Working from home options???

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows of any "real" work from home opportunities out there. DC will be off to kindergarten and I am interested in using my half-days to make a little $$ (given that the following year he will be full days). Has anybody ever done any medical coding? I saw an ad for this in a magazine recently. I don't know what it really is, but wondering if this or anything else out there is really legit. I am good at computers/typing, etc. I just don't want to be a sucker for something!

Hello-

I've been working from home for almost four years as an Independent Consultant/Exec. Supervisor for Usborne Books & More. We sell amazing children's books to families at home shows and also work with schools and libraries. I just finished some book fairs and a fun reading incentive program. It is quite flexible, but in order to succeed you need to be positive and self-motivated. Some people prefer jobs that have a boss, but I love being my own boss and working when I can/want to. Although there is an initial investment in books/supplies (this month it is $50), I've added a nice second income to my family budget, and earned trips, and promoted literacy, and had fun, etc.

There are other direct sales companies that are legit (kitchen products, food, make-up, decorating, etc.) and have a great reputation. Again, this option is not for everyone, but for me it has been AMAZING.
