Working at DLP this Christmas!

I posted in the UK trip planning forum and was told I should put here too!

I was in the process of the application for the ICP program for WDW and was offered a contract for this Christmas at DLP. I obviously had to accept and now the time has come around!

This Friday I am leaving to make the magic as a 'Serveur' in the resort.

I have a blog here and will hopefully update daily with how things are, what happens and just my general experiences if anyone wants to have a read.

Wow, that is sooo cool... Are you fluent in French? How did you get the job at DLP? In your blog it looks like you are going to WDW???

Yeah I speak French so was like why not apply! I did the interview last summer and was in their 'Talent Pool' and is a matter of waiting for a contract offer. You can apply directly on the DLP casting website too and do interviews all over Europe.

Yeah I am doing the WDWICP also next summer but my blog will cover DLP while im there over Christmas

I have thought about applying but I don't think I speak French well enough. And unfortunately Denmark is not a part of the WDWICP.
But I'm looking forward to hear about your adventures.

The interviews for it are really cool. They really settle you into it. Its changed a bit since when I did it but very similar format.

Thank you! I'm getting apprehensive now as I haven't heard anything yet but I'm thinking that because I'm in Ireland they are waiting to see how many people apply incase there aren't enough to merrit a session in dublin! That's the only way I am staying positive haha.

I have 6 and a half years experience as a waitress in a 4 star hotel though and I am very fluent in French so I think I should get an interview!
