I wish I could write an employee handbook. On the first page I would put in bold print: Do Your Job. On the second page I would put : Stop Focusing on Stupid Stuff. On the third page I would put: See Page One.

On page 3 you could put no texting or cell phones allowed.

On the fourth page you could put that all employees are required to dress in a professional manner, including conservative makeup, jewelry and perfume use.

Is something going around or what? DH came home so upset with his department he's ready to fire them all and hire all new employees. He says it's like trying to work with a bunch of drama queen teenagers and they're 40-50 year old women! He's tired of having to settle so much petty bickering and complaining.

This is exactly what I've been dealing with. I honestly don't understand when some of these people find the time to create/perpetuate all this drama.......I'm assuming it's because they didn't read page one of my employee handbook

Could you please add that if you fill in for someone that is out sick and you use their work place, please put it back the way you found it. And if you use up any of their items, replace them before they come back.

Could you add something to page 2 about taking care of yourself and not worrying about others' work? I supervise a handful of ladies who spend a good deal of time worrying about each other. Oh yeah, and sharing their concerns w/ me
