Work Schedule... Opinions... WWYD?

Yes!

But you are giving up more than $250 figuring in the tripling of your commute (3 days per week instead of 1).

But if your budget can take the hit, I'd go for it if that is something you and hubby wish to do.

(Another way to look at it--you essentially work 20 hours a week in OT, so is it worth it to you to cut back for your own sanity as well.)

If I do the math right you are actually making MORE working 40 hours/week then 60? I know in the end it is $250 less but it is 80 hours less. That is 2 full weeks of work less hours--Um, no brainer, go to the new schedule. I BET you won't even notice the $250 out of your budget. That is less then $65/week or one nice meal out. When is your next scheduled raise--or DH's? You will make it up easily then.

i think i would switch.

being a waitress, i LOVE having weekdays off, because it makes it SO much easier to get errands done - shopping, the bank, doctor's office, etc., are all so much less crowded because everyone else is at work!

i say go for it, especially since you can always switch back.

good luck! i would love to be a flight attendant. :goodvibes i love aviation, but actually flying planes is an EXPENSIVE hobby!

The three day a week schedule! It will give you more time with your dh and you can adjust to the $250 less.

Am I reading the OP correctly, 80 less hours a month for $250? I definitely would rather spend those hours at that rate at home with hubby.

oooh, if you think of it like that, you're only making $3.12/hour for those extra 80 hours.

Try the new schedule! :thumbsup2
