I had seen a post before about work at home jobs. If you work at home and ENJOY your job would you please message me or post on where I could find an at home job!
At one time their was some making reservations, etc..
Thanks in advance for the help!

yeah. I'll take a PM too of anybody has any leads. maybe something I can do part time or after work. Just looking to make more money.

Add me to that list. :) I'd love to find something at home but every site I find wants money first and that's not gonna happen.

Add me to the list, too. I am now officially unemployed and need the flexibility of a work at home job, or something that follows a school schedule. I have seen things in the past on the news programs about customer service for various companies out of your home via computer, but I was employed then and didn't pay much attention. Any ideas would be helpful! ;)

I found a job working as an extra for a filming company in our area on Craigslist. I live in a small town in Iowa too! The company films bank training videos, and often films at night when the banks are closed. I auditioned for acting roles, and have done that as well becuase that is my background. But the nights I am an extra all you have to do is stand there silently and get paid $25 an hour! I love it!

Do you have any skills/degrees?

I've had a work at home job and I'm interviewing for another work at home position as an Insurance Underwriter, and I have a friend who works at home as a Copy Editor but they are both jobs that require specific skill sets and experience.

I have an Elementary Ed. degree. Don't use it to teach but I have it.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree and also hours towards teaching extra. However, there are no teaching jobs out there anymore, unless I want to move to NYC or some other place I could never afford. Please PM me. Thank you!

I am also meeting with the Dept of Labor on Monday and want to discuss this option with them. I'll let you know if they give me any leads. :cool2:

I can type 70+ wpm with no errors, I am extremely efficient with 10-key and data entry. no degree tho, just kids. LOL :)

I think there is a work at home job where you can grade standardized tests. They prefer teachers. My friend who is a copy-editor was talking about how her mom used to do it.

For those of you with teaching degrees or backgrounds. Think about tutoring students. Going price is about 20-40 dollars an hours.

I would appreciate info about the copy editing. My DS is in his last semester, receiving his degree in journalism. Please PM me.

Thanks in advance!

I have been working at home doing inbound customer service and sales calls for over 5 years mostly for liveops. There are a couple of companies that do hotel reservations Working solutions and Arise. There are more work at home phone jobs that do donation calls, roadside asistance.

OSHA dept of labor? If so, my dh works for them.

I would love any information anyone could give me as well. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (was planning on going to law school). I have a Master's Degree in Journalism/Public Relations. I can type between 70-80 words a minute, sometimes more. I would LOVE a copy editing, proof reading job of some type. I would actually love to work for a publishing company editing and proofing books. I just can't seem to find a way in! Any information for ANY lucrative work at home position would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking to get rich, just looking to have a more flexible schedule so I can take care of my home and family.

Thanks!!
PM or email is fine: sarahr7401@yahoo.com

I just started with LiveOps as a part time nights/weekends job so I can vouch for them too. They do charge $50 for a background check but that's it (I also had to by corded phone and headset, and get a second land-line for the house, but that added up to about $100 out of pocket in addition to the background check). It takes a while to really get going with them (newbies don't get as many calls as people who've been there longer) but with some dedication you can do pretty well with them after a few months.

My full time at-home job is as a corporate travel agent. But I worked in an office of one kind or another for 10 years before I got the chance to work from home. Because I do corporate I'm on salary and not commision like most work-at-home leisure agents.

If you are looking for writing jobs, transcription, or other kinds of at-home employment, a good place to go is http://www.workplacelikehome.com , they have some good info on legit at-home oprotunities.

If you have the capability, you could always try offering cage-free, in home boarding for pets. Many people are searching for that luxury service.

Sorry to those that didn't get the info but I was sent a warning that I am soliciting by saying to pm me for details...lol :confused3
OK, so I thought posting the info here would not be allowed so that's why I told people to pm me...but since I was told to share the info here and I saw someone else has shared info from another company...
The website is arise.com
You can review their info and there is minimal start up costs involved. The exam you have to take is usually $99 but right now i think they are offering it for free until the end of the month. Also background check is around $13 I think...I have been working as an indep contractor since feb with them and I couldn't be happier!
