Galoshes-boots with buckles worn over shoes in rainy or snowy weather. The low cut version is called rubbers. (Tee hee hee)

Referring to a refrigerator by its brand name-put the oleo back in the Kelvinator (or Fridgidare)

I haven’t called them tennis shoes in decades - now I say sneakers....

Not really things people around me used to say but fortnite (spelled that way) just refers to the game not fortnight (spelled that way) referring to a 14-day time period.

Everyone I know still calls it supper…including me and my whole extended family.

My best friend uses that but she's the only person I know. Everyone uses dinner. That said in olden days as it was always described to me by people around me who grew up with that being said supper and dinner didn't mean the same thing but over time the terms came to mean the later meal of the day as oppose to supper was the later meal and dinner was just the main/big meal often earlier in the day. My best friend will say "want to meet for supper" and I know she just means dinner as she uses them to mean the same meal.
