Words of adice from all you veterns who went to MK on Xmas Eve or Xmas day??

If any of you have any tips of what to be sure you have with you ( planning the day there) . we are eatting Lunch and Dinner in the park that day (LTT and CP) kids are 11,8,5 and 2. last day in Disney.

what supplies did you go with out and said oh BEEP we needed this or that ?

Xmas Eve we are there in AM for CRT breakfast and then doing what ever the rest of the day. dinner is at Hoop Dee Doo at 5 pm that night. We left this time open to do really anything probably not be in park considering next day it will be all MK.

Hi, I am sure you will get some great specific tips...my 2 cents at this time of year is to prepare to be patient, prepare for the crowds, talk to the kids about long waits, and let each of them pick a few things they really want to do and be willing to wait.

Fun things that may be less of a wait include the Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents and sit RIGHT in the front row... the movie will be a little loud, but to see the incredible animation of the presidents close up is amazing.
The Carousel of Progress is an old standard...have the kids try and find the telephones and the hidden Mickey's...Look for the Mickey on the mantle in the last (modern) room.

Philharmagic is really fun show with a big theater.

Have you considered Mickey's Very Merry Christmas instead of a day at MK. We do that every year with grandkids and get in the park around 5 PM and if they can stay awake, they can walk on most any ride after 10 PM...plus great shows, parades. Crowds will be heavy until about 9:30 or so, but then it really opens up...

Not sure about what to take...weather should be excellent as far as tempertature, but sunscreen still needed, autograph books if the kids are into it, snacks, fruit.
