Wow - I'm surprised! DH and I were converted from one site to the other on different days, but our words were still the same when he was on NYT and I was still on the UK one.

from what I read today was the first time the words were different. The times removed some words from the original word list

YES!!! The words don't seem be as common/everyday words.
