I blew it! I had two correct letters in the first row and only used one of them in subsequent rows until I realized it on the last try. Should’ve had my coffee first…

Yesterday's I got mine in 6. Anyone that had that 4th letter to go either got lucky, cheated, or had trouble.

Note that I don't use aids of any kind. And I usually go for it rather than throw in a junk word after word three. Usually it pays off for me. Today it didn't. And the thing is, at word 3, I reasoned they wouldn't make it X..... It has to be something more obvious.... OF COURSE IT WAS X..... The one day I deliberately tie my vocabulary behind my back..... I shouldn't have. Of course at word 6 I was not going to lose without having tried X.... No way I'm going out the first time Ever in over 150 games like that. HAHAHA.

w Y Y G G Bummer. I really thought I Had it. But Having moved that original yellow everywhere it could go except slot 1, it must go in slot 1. Therefore the other yellow must go in slot 2. So in reality looking at word 4 I have
G G ? G G sewn up. There was but one choice. And I got it. Given the trouble others had, I feel good to be on the comeback trail from a 6 rather than a loss. My win rate is 100% and I aim to keep it that way.
