Word of Warning About Official Hours

Our trip was 2/28 to Mar 8. For those of you watching the hours closely, you probably know that the official site deleted the 2 e-nights and shortened the MK hours for that week. When we checked into the WL, they were still selling tickets for e-night on Saturday for that coming Tuesday's e-night. It was also listed in the flyer that they give you when you check in. Why they removed it from the official site and it really was not cancelled, I cannot tell you, but that is what happened.

We ended up not going to e-night because we changed our Backstage Magic tour from Wed to Tues before we arrived based on the "official hours" changing, and we did not think we could do an all-day tour and e-night in the same day. Plus they were calling for rain on that day and we thought we would wait until Tueday, if no rain and if we could still get the tickets and the energy, then we would do it. Well, actually, after the tour, I forgot about it and we did not check into tickets.

So, if you are counting on an e-night, don't give up hope yet, just because of the official hours.

you're right RweTHEREyet, you can't count on the official hours, they can change right up until the week you are going. last year in april they cancelled e-night just a few days before we went, but i wasn't dissappointed at all once we had arrived and saw they had just added 3 spectromagic parades which were not on the original official hours we were pretty excited as this parade was not on during our previous trip and we thought we were going to miss it again. this coming trip i was so excited that spectro was showing on my 1st night there, apr27, but they have changed the hours already and it is no longer on, along with the fireworks this last week in april i'm still hoping though that they will add it again by the time i go, it can happen maybe if they'd hurry up and release those ap discounts and room bookings go up

The official site does not post E-Night information.

That may be true, but it has normally happened in the past that when hours were shortened on the day of an e-night and/or the parade was cancelled, that e-night was cancelled, too. So those that are checking the Official hours might think that the same was happening again.
