I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to do upside down text. I'm having a banquet tonight and am using words as table numbers and wanted to be able to fold them in 1/2 instead of printing two of them and taping them back to back.

is this 1) understandable? 2) possible?

Sorry for the cryptic description, but my mind is shot right now :goodvibes

I would margin at the center of your page whatever size it is, then type the word on the left side, center, then right side center. Print and fold, flip upside down.

Another way, choose "Word Art", type in the word & format it whatever way you want, font, size, color, etc. Then on the Drawing toolbar click Draw, point to Rotate or Flip, and then click Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical. The first time you do it will be 90 degrees, so do it a second time & it will be completed upside down.

You can then type it a second time several lines down for the right side up. Check out Word Help - Flip an Object.

The way I do it, add a text box. ("Insert" "Text Box").

Then right click on the text box, choose "Add Text". Type in what you want to write.

Then click on the text box (you'll see little circles at the corners and in the middle of the lines). You can then grab on to the little green circle and swirl the box around, or you can go down to the bottom of your screen (to the drawing toolbar) and choose "Draw" "Rotate or Flip" and "Flip Vertical".

Best wishes.
