Woot! Only 2 days left!

We had to cancel our December trip because of finances (we sell tools, so if no one's building houses, no one's buying tools) and we rescheduled for. . . NEXT WEEK! We leave Saturday morning and come back Sunday the 8th. I'm all packed, have our PS, pretty much nothing left to do but get in the car and go.

We didn't tell the kids this time, because we felt so wretched disappointing them last time. They know we're going, but not when. My daughter thinks we're going in 81 days (random), and my 3 year old DS said, "We're not going because we don't have money". So I am excited to put them in the car Saturday morning and see their faces when they realize.

Only two more (of the longest) days!

How exciting, I wish I left it a surprise for the kids. But, I just couldn't hold it in.

How exciting!! We are surprising the kids for the first time too. We are flying out for FIL's wedding on Friday and they think we are flying home on Sunday. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when we pull up to a hotel across the street from Disneyland instead of the airport. I hope you have a great trip! Maybe we'll see ya there.

I'm so glad you're getting to go this time!!! We feel your pain regarding finances....In fact I'm sure of number of people are feeling the crunch.
We too are suprising our 2 young ones with our trip in 10 days. It's soooooo hard not telling them. I hope your family has an absolute fabulous time & here's to better times ahead for all of us!!

I also feel the pain like many of you. Lost of huge chunk of my assets in stocks and mutual funds.
