Woot! Booked Coral Reef diver and menu!

My DH and I have had a rough year. Illness, death in the family, I lost my job, we discovered we can't have children without IVF and so on. Our upcoming trip is his gift to me, as a 'sorry the year sucked so hard' gift. I've been trying to figure out something I could do to surprise him, and finally got everything settled. I've booked a diver at the coral reef to come down with a special message, and also arranged for a personalized menu. I sent the pictures to Debbi today.
I know he's going to be so surprised! I can't wait to see his face when he looks at the restaurant menu, and sees our wedding picture looking back.

That will be a great surprise! It's those little things that make it so special. Sorry about your rough year. Especially the IVF part. We did four rounds of IVF (last one being sucessful). I hope things start looking brighter for you.

That is great that you got the diver. I was thinking about doing it for my upcoming trip to surprise my dh but I can't think of what to put on the sign except I love you. Would that be too silly.

I am sorry to hear about your bad year. Last year right before we went to DIsney we almost lost out house due to a bad mortgage company. They were going to put our house up for sheriff sale. I can honestly say once I was in Disney I never thought about it once. Until the day we were coming home my husband said something about it. I could not beleive I didnt think of it once before that. It was the most stressful thing ever. Thankfully when we got home we starighten everything all out. I think Disney is magical!

I am so sorry to hear about the rough year you two have had to go through. I hope Disney can be a magical time for you both! And the diver at Coral Reef is awesome!!! I surprised my hubby this April with that for his Bday!!! He will enjoy that!

How do you go about setting up the diver signs?

Here's some info I found on another thread:

If you eat at Coral Reef, they have a diving team that will swim in the tanks a couple times a day with a "banner" that says whatever you want it to. You call 407-560-6636 after you have your ADR (they will ask for the ADR to check availability of the divers, so you have to already have it) and they will ask what to put on the "banner". The banner is 8 1/2 by 11 size and you can put special messages, for birthdays or whatever you want. And it's FREE. When you check in, it will be noted that you have a banner, so they will also seat you as close to the water as they can.
