WOOOHOOO!!! My first time with WATP!!!

Well, after all the talk, I decided to try it out. I've been leary of excersizing, wanted to lose more weight before I started that phase, but I did it anyway. I just did the mile!!! I am really out of shape and after just about 5 minutes I was already burning and didn't think I could make it. But I did!!! I have decided that I will get up at 6 am every morn and do it, and maybe about 3 times a week, go for it again later in the day. My body may be a little sore, but boy does it make me feel good just to know that I completed it, and can do it again!!

Good job. I too am (was) out of shape and ill tell you , you may not believe this but I have had my 3 tapes (1,2,3 mile) for about 4 weeks and I am do ing the 3 mile. Its hard but I got bored so quickly with the first two. really!
good luck and let us know as you move to the next mile.

Thanks :) WATP is a DVD by Leslie Sansone, it's walk away the pounds. I had no clue what it was, but someone said they saw it at Sam's, so I went to Sam's after work today, and pieced it together to figure out what it was :)I had told my hubby that I wanted to do the 1 mile for a week, then start on the 2 mile. Glad to know that's what others did too. Well, off to be to get my 7.75 hours seep... lol

Julie, I'm so happy for you!! You conquered your fear and WENT for it!! I'm glad the 1 mile is working out well for you. I also started with the one mile and still do it if I'm really running short on time.

You go, girl!!! Walk away the pounds to a healthier you!! ::yes::
 
Good for you!!! I'm sooo glad you decided to start exercising. I hear people say, like you did at first, that they want to loose more weight before they start exercising. I know some people may be very over weight and exercise is very difficult but you have to do something, maybe not at the same intensity or level but just to get in the mind set of working out is great. Even if you just stand for 15 minutes stepping side to side along with the tape if you can't march for that long is going to help your body. You've made the best choice for your body and your health...good for you!!
 
I love the WATP tapes. Now, I just need to make sure I do them everyday.
 
Same here, Kath...I need to just do them each day and I would be all set...

Thanks for all the support!!! I just did my third day of it this morning. I think I may go for the 2 mile tomorrow morning, depending o what time I get home from work tonight anyway. I have just started working a second job (to get me moved to Disney quicker) so this is gonna be real hard :)
