WOOLWORTHS pre-orders cancelled

I know someone was asking the other day about the fate of dvd pre-orders. Just to let you know I've just had an e-mail telling me that my order for the Dark Knight has been cancelled so I'm sure it will be the same for everything else.

Just a standard e-mail with no explanation but there you go

Now anyone know the best deal on the 2-disc version of The Dark Knight?! lol

The main reason is that Entertainment UK (EUK) which supplies the DVD's, CD's is part of Woolworths & has gone into administration too. Therefore they are not getting any new stock at the moment.

I would guess that Asda or Morrisons may have a good deal.

The only problem with EUK going into adminstration is that they supply Zavvi & WHSmith online, Sainsburys, some of Asdas & some of Morrisons.

Zavvi & WHSmith have stopped taking online orders. Sainsburys are in the process of changing supplier.

I got a text message on my house phone informing me my order had been cancelled as well.

I was waiting for camp rock, hancock n dark knight.

Managed to pick up camp rock and hancock.

This really is a massive loss to a lot of people isn't it! It's not quite just as simple as Woolworths going into administration it is causing untold problems for other people who were using totally different companies.

I hope everyone manages to get orders sorted in time for Christmas
