I thought the same thing too! So I opened this thread and thought maybe I can learn some more stuff about the lightning! (Terrified of lightning!) Anyways... CONGRATULATIONS!!

Was there and is was crazy...It was such an awesome experience. Can't wait for Tuesday...never in my entire life did I think I would be going to a STanley cup final series.

It was reported on TSN during game 5 of the Flyers Lightning game during the 2nd intermission. It could be on ESPN to but not to sure they are looking to move them to either Winnipeg or Indy. Hamilton wants them to but I don ot think the Leafs will allow that to happen o close to Toronto. The Panthers are supposed to go to Portland or houston.

I have followed Dave Andreychuk's entire Career. We're talking from 1982 on. My Dad took me to a Sabres open practice (I was 9 yrs old) and he seemed really good. He was my instantaneous favorite player. I did all the typical kid things...collected cards (have his rookie), got autographs (through a kid's eyes I can say he is a very nice and friendly person), cut out newspaper articles..LOL. I've watched him play every time he has come back to town..with Toronto, NJ, Boston...Tampa etc. I saw his 5 goal game against Boston (as a Sabre), his 500th goal, his 600th goal, etc. I am SOOOOOO excited for him. I cannot believe It's been 22 seasons!! My husband said that when he is inducted into the hall of fame, we will go watch.

I've really like this Tampa team... They aren't a bunch of overpaid sports brats. They work hard and play as a team. I am cheering them on...all the way to the CUP!!!!

Calgary is going to be a tougher opponent than Philly was they play the same style of game. Sorry floridaminnie it was actually on the broadcast of the game it was the Mayor of Winnipeg and the hockey writer from the sporting news I think anyhow. The mayor was telling him and those watching about the phone calls he had recieved from the Lightning owners and they have people that want to buy them to bring to Winnipeg.

Well, needless to say, I am heartbroken that the Flyers lost, but in the spirit of good sportsmanship, good luck to the Tampa Bay Lightening in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
