I am finally getting into the Christmas spirit - vodka, gin, bacardi

Seriously, we put the decorations up at work yesterday (I think it was an effort to cheer everyone up just before they told us that we're all out of jobs next year ) and I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow (a decision which I may live to regret) but I am finally starting to feel a bit Christmassy.

I even had the annual phone call from my brother last night - yes, folks, Christmas is defintiely on its way

our decorations have been up at work for over a month hehe. but then im a manager at a supermarket and ive been dealing with xmas since the end of august, so my xmas spirit is starting to run out, mvmcp recharged it a bit i must add lol

I can't believe how Christmassy I have been feeling this week. I have been lucky enough to catch up with 3 of my best friends this week, and we have swopped Christmas presents and they've even given me my birthday presents for when I'm away

I've been taking photos this year of my presents as I want before and after photos, so here's a few that I can't wait to open

I feel so lucky this year, and it looks like I going to have a great Christmas

Woohoo, I am getting very excited. I only have three more days at work before Christmas

The Christmas decorations are all up at home and I'm starting to get more into the party mood.

Really looking forward to having two weeks off work too

I'm feeling a bit behind with the whole Christmas thing so today I'm definitely taking stock of gifts and seeing who I still need to get for. I know I need serious inspiration for my eldest son as well as thinking of some little extras for my husband. And I need to stop getting things for my daughter!!!

Next Monday I'm meeting up with DH in town for our annual Christmas shopping expedition. We buy some last minute bits and have dinner together afterwards - then I know Christmas is here...

Paul hasn't had a works 'do' this year, so I am really looking forward to our annual visit to the NEC to see the Rock with Laughter show with Nat & John on Saturday evening. We're having dinner at Frankie & Benny's at Birmingham airport and staying over at the Novotel (that's opposite) ~ I can't wait
