how are you getting on with your hampers or are they now sorted ?

For any toy story fans, I bought a talking Jesse from Toys R Us at half price for 9.99. DD loves her so she's gone away for Xmas, thought she's ideal considering the new Toy Story film is coming out next year :goodvibes

Christmas cakes and selection boxes are in Tesco - down the same aisle as the barbecue stuff still on sale. :lmao:

I believe Asda have the tins of celebrations, heroes, etc on offer at the minute. :) The only problem for me buying chocs this early is that they go way before xmas !!!

co op have their big tins of choccies out now too

:cool1:

I ordered my first Crimbo present yesterday. I can't say what it is as certain people 'lurk' on here, but I'm finally getting into the Christmas spirit (and I don't mean the rum ;) ) :santa:

Just to let you know that Boots have got their on-line Christmas store up, and they're doing '3 for 2 mix and match'

I haven't seen any of their gift sets in-store yet, but I'm sure it won't be long :santa:

Have just got back from town and I'm pleased to report that boots had their xmas gifts on display, complete with the 3 for 2 offers  I bought a few gift sets to put away but will wait for my big shop when they have a bonus point evening. Disappointed that they didn't have the xmas book though.

Next had their xmas cards and wrapping paper in :)

HMV also have a lot of dvd box sets on offer as well as the usual selection of dvds.

I think you should get your bargain thread up and running again Michelle - it was a great help last year

I went to Costco in Reading yesterday and started my Christmas Shopping. I managed to buy: lovely musical cards, handmade cards, wrapping paper and thick material ribbon.

They also had a pack for making your own Christmas Pudding, it was put together as a gift with cellophane and bow and it looked so good, all you had to add was alcohol!

I am intending to spread the cost this year, as I still do not have a job, but on the upside I do have alot of time to actually do my Christmas Shopping this year.

Tina

Thanks,do you think it would be too early too start one Mandy :confused3,there are bargains out there already :thumbsup2.(p.s.-i did'nt realise it got as many pages as it did :thumbsup2).x.

I don't think it's too early Michelle, start it when you're ready hun ::yes::

I'm hoping to buy a couple of things each week too Tina, I think a lot of people are starting early this year

I had a wander around town this morning, and I've already seen a few pressies that I'm going to get over the next week or two :santa:

I've made my first few purchases, which were all christmas presents for me :lmao: from DH :rotfl2: Disney store . com was selling some stitch snowglobes half price and I have had my eyes on them forever! So i got them and told DH his christmas shopping is done

I've still got lots of cards & wrap left from last year so that'll save me money.

I've started to write some lists / ideas of what to get people :surfweb: We are going to disney at the end of November so I want to make sure everything is done before we go away - so that when we get back all i've got to do is put the tree up and wrap :santa:

I love the idea of bargain thread!!! :woohoo:

a bargain thread sounds great :goodvibes I went shopping today and picked up a few more xmas presents. Gor a few things from Boots and found out that their Christmas Book containing all their gifts will be out on 7th October.
