Woohoo, Its Christmas Day

Woohoo, it's the weekend again, is anyone going out to buy pressies or anything nice ??? :)

BTW - Woolworths has got 10% off most stuff for today and tomorrow

I'm really excited too because it will be my birthday also and i'm getting to spend the first Christmas with my wonderful boyfriend :teeth:

I've started some Christmas shopping but mostly just small stocking fillers.

Ooh, how exciting to have your birthday on Crimbo Day - Do you like it ? Or do you end up with a Christmas & Birthday present in one ? Don't forget to put your birthday on the Birthday Thread at the top of the Community Board :)

You are ;)

Thing is because I have done it so early - I didn't enjoy it at all :(

Usually I do it in December with a Christmas CD on, a little drinky in front of the Christmas tree, this year I did it in the spare room surrounded bu car seat's, bottles etc ;)

So you had bottles of drinky rather than just a drinky?? Shame on you :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have been to Chester today with my dd Natalie, we raided the Disney store and bought the mickey ears decs and the little ears ones as well, also bought my secret santa and 3 ariel toppers(not the same as buying them in wdw though)
and bought a dopey that sticks on windows :earboy2:
there was soooooooo much in there!!! I picked up the new Disney catalogue as well!!

I spent a little of the money I saved on my car insurance on a Flirty Christmas Tree. It is soooooo funny and I've been playing it all morning. By the time Christmas is over with wil probably be sick of hearing it

I went into Leeds yesterday to do some more shopping but in reality I bought a collar for My two kittens, 2 kitten advent calenders, some kitten play toys...... You get the picture!

In a moment of madness I grabbed Jamie Olivers 'Jamies Christmas' for £4.99 from BHS. As Gavin's Mam said 'that's a bit adventureous!'

I have NEVER cooked a turkey in my likfe but as it will only be Gavin & Myself if it all goes belly-up we can have toasted teacakes instead!

It was def' worth £4.99p - I probably wont be following it word for word but I now know the secret to perfect roast potatoes!

Out of all of the celeb chefs I find him the easiest to follow. I can barely cook at all but I do wish I could so I watch his naked chef on the telly and find him easy to follow.

Don't blame you doing the rest on the net Michelle.

Thanks Jodie - I think I will take a peak at this (for DH of course) :)
