**Woohoo !! It's Christmas Day**

We love Ludo at the moment.
I saw Disney Monopoly at toys-r-us and quite fancy it, although DD's are a bit young.....
I loved Battleships, Cluedo when I was young and Connect4.
I love the old games - I'm determined to get my girls around the table playing them, I think it's a great way to spend family time in the winter when it's cold outside especially with tea and biscuits to hand......:goodvibes

Thats my Theory :thumbsup2

I noticed that BHS has got it's Christmas shop set up now. There were lots of nice Bailey's gifts there, so I may have to drop some hints about them to the family :thumbsup2

I picked up some giftbags from Poundland, 3 different sizes with either Santa, Snowmen or Rudolf on for a quid and some Winnie the Pooh paper for my friends pressies. I think I may start some wrapping up later today

Nat, do you remember when you and Joh came round before the Girly Weekend last year, and all the presents were under the stairs ? Well it's looking like that again now :rotfl2:

:santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

Another really good game is articulate

We love playing this. Basically you have a set time to describe words to your team without saying the word and just like pictionary you have different categories, people, places, action etc.

Last christmas my nanny and grandad were round and we all played it but they couldn't really cope with the fast pace and didn't really get the concept. My nanny had 'Prince of Darkness' on her card and she said well I think he must be royality but I've not heard of him :lmao:

Then my grandad had 'A hinge' on his card so he says to his team, it's a hinge and they were all trying to guess what it could be; bracket, join, door etc and obviously no one got it so when the time ran out and they said what was it and grandad said 'A Hinge' we just fell about :rotfl2:

I've been out shopping with my mum again today. I am so surprised that most of the shops still don't have any christmas stuff out! :confused3 (I'm sulking now!) Even Asda hasn't got anything out except some of the biscuits, sweets stuff.

I did manage to get a few bits though - I got my dad some Slippers, Radox bath smellies & a pair of Jeans. I also got my Secret Exchange gifts.

Oh and a bottle of Caramel Baileys! Which I will be trying tonight probably - thanks Michelle! ;)

I think the Baileys is on offer until about the 25th oct - they also have the 1litre original Balieys reduced from £17 to £13.99! They have all the tins of sweets such as Celebrations, Roses, Quality St etc all reduced down to £6too.

Might be worth you popping down there Michelle. :thumbsup2
