I booked my friend and myself for a three night stay in September, with the free dining offer. Well my cousin tells me last night she wants to go with her friend. So, I am trying to come up with a way to have them go, and save them money since there are no discounts out now. I call to see if I can get them my AP discount, even though I won't be in the room...the answer was yes! So, cool they can stay for the $59 a night.

But, I called back this morning, on a whim, and asked if I could add them to our reservation and I was able to add a ROOM for them, same deal as us...with the free dining plan! Even though the offer isn't available anymore, you can Modify an existing reservation and add rooms, getting the deal still!

I am so proud of you. Wow, what a great thing to find out. I am so happy for you. I know how you must have felt when they ask about going. I had a friend call me the day after YMP expired and ask for help also.

You got very lucky! Yes you can modify the reservations, but adding another room is usually not allowed at all. Consider yourself fortunate and enjoy the savings!

I talked to three CMs about this, the first said yes, I could add a room and they too would get all the perks. Didn't have the last names, so called right back after I got them, and that CM said NO, can't do it. Called back and that third CM said yes, not a problem at all. They had to go to special services or something, but it was allowed no problem! I would think if the system allows it, then it is in deed allowed.

Oh I'm not doubting you got it, just letting you know you were lucky. Normally this cannot be done, and you were fortunate to get an exception.
