Wood cutting boards???

Can anyone tell me how to clean one?? I'm only planning on using it for fruits and veggies. I won't be cutting raw meats on it.

We clean ours with dish soap and water.

I have a couple of wood boards....one for veggies, one for meat.

Soap and water works really well. If you are concerned, clean it with a weak bleach solution and rinse it well. That will kill most of the stuff on the wood.

Unsealed wood needs to be coated first with a conditioning oil. Ikea sell it. This will stop penetration of water soluble contaminants and allow faster washing and drying.

If you use the wood unoiled you risk fungal build up and spoiling.
