Jist signed and faxed our contract documents. Now all we have to do is wait 6-8 weeks for it to close (hurry up and wait!). We can't wait to start enjoying DVC!!

Which resort did you pick?

We landed on SSR. It is probably not the first choice we would have had for a home resort - but bang for our buck was important to us at this stage, and we couldn't do any better than that. As we get more into how we'll use DVC down the road (and the kids become school aged in 3-5 years, further limiting 7m rental opportunities), this may become a stepping stone into a more extensive contract at a resort we'd rather have. For now, we're ecstatic about the opportunity to do the DVC, which resort we stay in was well down on our list of priorities.
