Yesterday, Thursday, DS and I were lucky enough to go on the new Pooh ride. It was about 11:30, we only waited about 10min. It is really cute, but seems to go fast, like the honey pot actually moves too fast, I think. You don't have much of a chance to take everything in, then you are already in the next scene. We got in line to ride again, but then they were experiencing difficulties. We only waited about 5 mins, then left. But most people were going to wait it out.

DS and I love this ride and I am really glad to have it here!

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm hoping to get a chance to ride it next week :D

Thanks for the update, Dana! Have you ridden the one at the MK as well? I would love to hear a comparison between the two. :)

We were able to ride it also :) I have been on both and DL is by far a better ride. The rooms are much larger and the ride is longer. My only complaint would be the cars, they are very high in front and my 8 year old had a difficult time seeing everything (tip: put smaller children in the back seat). Also the location (exit of Splash Mountain) will make this ride very busy.

It was very cute and the girls loved it :)

While we were there last week, I kept watching very closely for a soft opening. That would have been so cool, but it wasn't to be. We missed it by a week. It did look really cute, though.

Interesting you say that it goes too fast... when it opened in WDW they had "timing" problems. The reason why.... car speed was too fast.

We just went 3 months ago and hardly noticed the sign and everything for it. Can anyone get a picture or something up here?

DW and I rode it today. It was the Annual Passholder special preview... (today and tomorrow) with tickets we got online at the Disney site. All very cool except their site didn't work and we had a bit of a snafu trading in our internet voucher for the actual "ticket." A wonderful CM got it all fixed for us.

We also rode the WTP ride in WDW. There are so many differences, but despite some pretty negative things about the new attraction here in Anaheim on some Disney fan sites, it was a very pleasant ride. We were all ready for some "cheaped out" Paul Pressler fiasco, but were very pleasantly surprised. I think you are all gonna like it.

The rocking/bouncing goes on throughout the ride... very gentle, not enough to make anyone puke, but just right... very fun. The colors were bright, and the ride seemed well laid out. The ride did seem a bit scary for younger children... the sound track at the begining was a bit hair raising and spooky. But that makes it more enjoyable for the older aged kids. There were some cost shortcuts and those showed... in the paint details and application particularly. And the motion of some of the animatronic characters is a bit jerky. All these are mere quibbles about an otherwise excellent attraction. Rumor has it the Imagineer most responsible for this attraction was John Stone, who supposidly did a good deal of work on Indiana Jones. But thats just a rumor.

I got to ride it three times this past week (The days prior to the AP preview). It was a "walk on" the times I went, twice in the early morning and once right before the park closed Saturday. I did see some long lines for it at other times but they seemed to move fast. Overall I enjoyed the ride. It was better than I had been led to expect by some posters on another board. I can't compare it to the WDW Pooh as I have never ridden the "Toad Killer" ;) Guess I'll have to try it now so I can compare them.
