Had a res. for OKW. Had waitlisted for a standard studio at BWV. It came through!!!!!! We will be there 4/3-8. This will be our first time staying at BWV. What do we need to know? Quick breakfast ideas? Thanks for all your info.

Yay!! We will be there the exact same dates in a standard 1 BR, that I can not believe we were able to get 60 days out!!!!!

Have a fantastic time and you can grab some quick breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery!! :) :)

We will be there too! We will be in a 2 bedroom BW view. I'm surprised at the availability, however, our Spring Break in Indy is different than most of the other schools here. I will be our first time at BWV. We have stayed at Beach Club Resort though. I think BW will be fun and more accessible to food!

Congratulations!

I you don't want to eat breakfast in your room, just stop at the Boardwalk Bakery for something quick - lots of yummy things to choose from.

If you want something more substantial, you have Spoodles right on the Boardwalk and all the restaurants of the Swan/Dolphin and BC/YC to choose from. Your DVC membership card will get you a 20% discount off the Swan/Dolphin restaurants (except for Shula's, but that's not a breakfast place, anyway, LOL. It might not include Blue Zoo, either. Not sure).

Best wishes -

We are still waiting for our wait list for the same dates - lucky you! We are in a prefered view the 1st half of our vacation and then standard the last! maybe we are next on the list?

We had been waitlisted since exactly the 7 month mark. Good luck on yours!

Great news on the waitlist Paticake!! I know the joyful feeling of having a much wanted waitlist come through, it's wonderful. Lots of pixie dust to you berly! And it doesn't hurt to call now and then (not too frequently, don't want to be a pest) to check instead of waiting to hear from MS. I was on the waitlist and called to ask a question regarding my request. Somehow something had come through just at the time I called and I got what I was waiting for. I've heard this from other posters too, so I don't think it was a fluke.

BTW I noticed this is about trips people are taking in April. Some of you already are on there, but if anyone who isn't wants to be added to the April Roll Call we'd love to have you!

Here's the link if you'd like to join the list:

Hope you all have great trips!

Variation on this--Get something from the Bakery the night before. Make coffee, hot chocolate, tea, whatever your favorite is, in the room. Relax in your room or on the terrace with your Boardwalk Bakery treat and your favorite beverage.

I really like to do this so I don't have to get dressed too soon. I lounge around in my pj's, take my time, and that starts the day with me in a really good mood.

My husband is soo happy that he'll be able to go to ESPN for opening day game with the Red Sox and Yankees!

That will make it 9 straight wins for the Sox!

Oh, I'm so jealous. I'd love to watch a Sox-Yankees game from ESPN!
I'm seen Pats games there before but haven't seen Sox game there yet.

Listen and listen well. Most people who go to the BWV area haven't learned yet about eating over at the Swan and Dolphin. Just a 5 min walk into the Dolphin and you will have the best break "feast" you could ever have. DVC members 20% off on all eats. Cuts down on the just a bit high price. Try it. You will go there every day. They also have the best ice cream parlor around. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
