Yeah, on Disney site, the schedule still shows it closed for refurb on May 11th. We arrive the 9th, but wouldn't mind if it is open our entire time there. I'm hopeful, but until Disney itself says it is open, I'm not telling my DD that it willl be open the entire trip.

We're on the same timeline as you. I got a FP+ for POTC the 9th thinking we may not get on it again for the rest of the trip. Hope we can, as it's one of our faves!

Same here. We were going to make the 9th a resort day since we arrive, but we're going to do the pool when we get there, and then added an extra day ticket to hit MK that night. The 10th is probably out since that is AK and dinner at DTD.

There was another thread with the meat of the story! The start date for the refurbishment is getting pushed out (probably/rumored/hopefully).

I scared the cat when I shouted my approval at the computer when I read they had pushed back the refurbishment to June 8th. I am so excited to get to ride on our trip this May. I don't even mind if I get stuck on it

According to the Fastpass Avalability site, POTC will be closed from May 11th all the way through July 5th.

Okay, I'm getting suspicious of the post on the Dis that says POTC will be open til June 8. Allears, WDWinfo, Undercovertourist, etc all say it will be closed as originally planned. And WDW's own site says it will be closed, so how is this info on the Dis correct?
