Woo Hoo..I booked the Dolphin last night!!

Thanks to everyone who helped me with this process. I never thought picking out a hotel would be that difficult!!

So anyway, I booked 7 nights (3/23 - 3/30) lake view at the Dolphin with AAA discount. I also signed up for SPG, and gave them that number as well. Who knows, maybe I'll get upgraded when I get there. When making the reservation, was told AAA and Entertainment Club were the same discount.

When all was said and done, the Dolphin seems like the best choice for us. My husband is really concerned about being as close to World of Sports as possible (to ensure we don't miss his daughter's cheer competitions).

So now the count down begins, WDW... HERE WE COME!!!

What did you get for a AAA rate?

The rates are different for the Dolphin and Swan. Since the Swan has finished their renovations, their prices are $15/night more.

Dolphin with AAA rate:
Standard - $162.50 plus tax, plus $10/night resort fee
lake view - $180 plus tax, plus $10/night resort fee (works out to $210/night including tax)
balcony - can't remember
club level - $222.50 plus tax (not sure if they change resort fee at this level)

We were going to stay at POR with AAA rate for waterview at approx $195 per night including tax, and for the extra $15/night it was worth it for us.

The Dolphin is under renovations now. When we get closer to our arrival date, I plan to call and see if I can get a renovated room.

You're going to love your stay at the Swan and Dolphin! It is a fabulous resort on so many levels!
